saturday seminars for singles
You usually don’t get in a car unless you’re going somewhere; unless you have a destination. And yet in our culture people blindly fall in and out of love relationships until one lasts long enough to make it to the altar.
Does this make sense?
The Marriage Ed Saturday Seminars for Singles are all about figuring out where you’re headed and what you need to get there safely and sanely before you set off on the grand journey of dating and courtship.
There are three separate seminars in the series:
Be Prepared
Before You Fall In Love
In our culture, most will spend at least 12 years in school preparing for the calling of career. How long does it take to prepare for the calling of marriage… and what does that preparation look like? This seminar deals primarily with discipline – the doing – the disciplines you need to master to sustain a successful marriage… disciplines that you will want to develop NOW in your current relationships before you get married.
Coming to Franklin, TN – March, 29 2008! For more information, click here!
PRE-REGISTER NOW for $40 (cost includes lunch)
If marriage is a calling, how do you know if you’re called… and to whom… and when? This section deals with wisdom – the knowing – knowing God’s will, God’s voice, just knowing God period.

“Getting Marriage”
Before You Fall In Love
Many single people fear marriage. Others long for it… for all the wrong reasons. In this seminar we focus on the role of faith in singleness, courtship and marriage – the believing, if you will – believing in God’s desire to care for you, His ability to guide you and His power to sustain you (before and in marriage).
This is actually the first seminar in the series and first took place back in November, 2007.
